Laurel Park & Little Cottonwood Park Turf Rehabilitation

Public Works will begin turf rehabilitation at Laurel and Little Cottonwood Parks on December 4th, with limited park access through February 24, 2025. The work includes overseeding and fertilizing to promote healthier grass growth. Please note that ball fields will be closed during this time. Thank you for your patience.

Turf Rehabilitation

Public Works will commence with the turf rehabilitation at Little Cottonwood Park and Laurel Park starting December 4th. There will be limited park use from December 4, 2024 to February 24, 2025. The turf rehab includes planting grass seed into existing grass and applying fertilizer to promote healthier grass growth. Ball fields will also be closed.

  • The tennis courts and pickleball courts at Laurel Park are still under rehabilitation. We will announce the reopening as soon as they are completed.
