Street Improvements on Various Streets Project
- The City of Los Alamitos will begin a citywide street rehabilitation project to repave local streets listed below as part of it’s ongoing pavement management program. The project is scheduled to begin October 21, 2024 and will span for two months. The project will also replace damaged curb & gutter and lifted sidewalk to correct drainage. Curb ramps at these locations will be modified to current codes as necessary for accessibility. Trash pick up will remain as scheduled. Street sweeping may be delayed based on the street location and the contractor’s work. Residents and businesses will be notified prior to the work in each neighborhood by door hangers and no parking signs will be posted 72-hours prior to any work.

On August 19, 2024, the City Council approved awarding the construction contract for the Various Street Improvements Project (CIP No. 23/24-03) to Hardy and Harper, Inc. for $1,405,000.00.
