Reagan Street Project

The City of Los Alamitos will grind and overlay Reagan Street from Farquar Avenue to Katella Avenue as part of the City's ongoing pavement management program. Onyx Paving will perform the work.

The project will include the replacement of damaged curb and gutter to improve drainage, as well as repairs to uplifted sidewalks and deteriorated driveways to improve accessibility. ADA curb ramps will be upgraded as necessary to meet current accessibility standards. Cross gutters will also be repaired to improve drainage flow.

Construction is expected to begin Monday, July 27, 2026 and be completed in September 2026. Streets will remain open during most of the work. However, during the paving operation, Reagan Street will be closed for one day to allow for asphalt placement.

Temporary "No Parking" signs will be posted as needed to notify residents of upcoming work. Additional project updates and information will be provided as construction progresses.
