Laurel Park Tennis Court Project
Laurel Park Tennis Courts are set for renovations this year, including updates to the fencing and resurfacing of the courts, along with the addition of new pickleball courts. The courts are in constant use throughout the week for tennis classes, summer camps, pickleball programs, and resident bookings. With the current fence and surfaces being over a decade old, these updates are essential for a fresh look and improved functionality. The new fencing and surfacing will enhance both the visual appeal and overall experience for all users.

Phases
Resurfacing
The current tennis court surface shows signs of usage and cracks in the concrete. Maintenance to the tennis courts have not been done in over 10 years. With the rise in pickleball, this opportunity would allow the City to convert one tennis court to two brand new pickleball courts. The new benches and City approved paint scheme would also bring a new look to the tennis courts to enhance the playing experience.
Resurfacing is set to begin on Monday, October 21st, and is anticipated to take 4 weeks to complete.
