Bloomfield Street Improvement Project

The City of Los Alamitos was provided Federal Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 (CRRSAA) funding through the 2021 Pavement Management Relief Funding (PMRF) Program.

The City of Los Alamitos proposes to grind and overlay the pavement on Bloomfield Street from Katella Avenue to Florista Street as part of the City’s ongoing pavement management program. The project will also replace damaged curb & gutter and lifted sidewalk to correct drainage. ADA curb ramps will be modified to current codes as necessary for accessibility.

The project will take place from late March through the month of April, 2024. Through lanes will be impacted but at least one lane in each direction will remain open at all times. Traffic control and flaggers will assist drivers and pedestrians through the work zone.
